The Queen updates

"Marie Antoinette" appeared to be an exercise in directing a biopic the way Marie Antoinette herself might have done it -- expensively and without much forethought. The costumes were so lovely it almost made up for the real-time feeling, though.

In other news, E, J and I ran the Pacific Shoreline half marathon yesterday. Today I am so achey that I can barely limp downstairs. I am, however, extremely proud of myself.
