Returning to the Land of the Living

We took our last midterm this Tuesday. It was a painful one, (in Econometrics,) and our professor returned them the next day. We had to pick up the grades online, which was horrific. Because it was Econometrics, the whole grade distribution was available, and for a while, we thought that our grades must be visible to the rest of the class. Actually, we all tell each other our grades anyway, so that wouldn't really have been too bad. In the immortal words of Carly Simon, "We have no secrets..."

I did much better than expected, which was a happy end to my little saga. And now I must return to the rest of my life, put on hold for three weeks. The plan for the actual return home is in place: last final on the 16th and flight on the 17th.
